Jessica Obenhofer
Outreach Committee Chair
Jessica Obenhofer is a Marine Corps veteran and avionics technician who spent her career keeping heavy lift (CH-53E) and fighter (F-16) aircraft mission ready. From turning wrenches on CH 53Es to supporting F 16 fleets and advanced electronic countermeasure programs as a civilian contractor, she brings a ground up perspective on what makes aviation work.
She is completing her Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics with a minor in Safety at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (expected March 2026) and will transition directly into ERAU’s Master of Science in Aviation Safety program, focusing on fatigue risk management and crash investigation.
Jessica is passionate about showing the next generation, especially women, veterans, and kids, that aviation offers limitless, high impact careers on the flight line and beyond.
As Outreach Coordinator, she is dedicated to building bridges, expanding scholarships, and growing this amazing organization in New Mexico.
Outside of aviation, Jessica is a proud mom to a high energy three year old. When she’s not studying or chasing her toddler, you’ll find her hiking New Mexico’s trails or teaching her son why jet fuel smells like freedom.
