Girls in Aviation Day is a free event for girls ages 8-17 featuring STEM activities, giveaways, guest speakers, and a lot of fun!
This event being held in conjunction with The Big Bang STEM Expo located in Alamogordo on June 28th from 10am-2pm.
Registration is required for participation. Use the Google Forms link at the bottom of this page to register.
***Parents or Guardians are required to remain with the girls for the event and activities. ***
-Free event for girls ages 8-17
-Free goody bag for each girl who participates with Aviation for Girls magazine
-10am - Sign In
-10am-12pm: Scavenger hunt with hands on STEM activities and Positive female role models in aviation and aerospace careers as Guest Speakers
-12pm-2pm: Free STEM Project
-Once Upon a Time Photography will be onsite to capture the action with free access to photos
-Held at the Tay’s Event Center on the Campus of NMSU Alamogordo (free admission and parking)
-Food Vendors will be onsite.

Since the very first Women in Aviation International Girls in Aviation Day in 2015, the annual WAI event has grown every year since its first gathering of 32 events and 3,200 participants.
