Girls in Aviation Day is a free event for girls ages 8-17 with aviation activities, free stuff, guest speakers, and lots of fun!

Girls ages 8-17 are invited to join us at the Spaceport America Open House on September 21st for a fun filled day of aviation activities and education. Open House hours are TBD, https://www.spaceportamerica.com/open-house/

Girls in Aviation Day sign in starts at 9:30am. The Girls in Aviation Day portion will run from 10am to noon. Registration is required for participation. Link coming soon!

***Parents or Guardians are required to remain with the girls for the event and activities.***

-Free goody bag for each girl who participates with Aviation for Girls magazine and much more

-Aviation scavenger hunt

-Positive female role models in aviation and aerospace careers as guest speakers

-Lots of Fun!

Since the very first Women in Aviation International Girls in Aviation Day in 2015, the annual WAI event has grown every year since its first gathering of 32 events and 3,200 participants.
